(More customer reviews)This case will protect your bike from the roughest handling that it will encounter. It's easy to use, and my standard road bike fits in easily if you remove the wheels, pedals and handlebars. The only problem is that case weighs 33 lbs, and your bike weight can easily take that over the airlines' 50 lb limit. Then, you not only pay for "oversize", you pay for "overweight". I circumvent this---just barely---by removing the seatpost/seat and pedals, and putting those in my carryon bag.
So, the only downside to this case is about the airlines not the case.
